Our People

Barry D. Kelly

I have traveled much of the world and first went to Bolivia more than 30 years ago. Professionally, a successful Wall Street investment banker and entrepreneur comfortable in corporate board rooms or on glacier covered mountains, I began traveling again to Bolivia several years ago on a regular basis to experience more fully the marvels this incredible country has to offer. From stunning Andean peaks to Amazon rainforests, from the brilliant colors and energy of Carnival to rich Inca and pre-Inca ruins and ritual, from more than a dozen ethnically diverse peoples to Spanish colonial history, from trekking authentic ancient Inca trails to fishing for peacock bass, Bolivia is a treasure chest that holds them all. VivaBolivia.com was formed to share my passion about this marvelous place and these extraordinary people with those who yearn to see and experience something out of the ordinary, something so diverse and so amazing that it will create a chapter of unforgettable memories in your life. At VivaBolivia.com we can make your journey as challengingly rustic or as refined as you wish. We welcome you as our guests to Bolivia and promise to make your experience there with us one you will treasure forever.
